Linhollow Travels-WIPChapter I- As it Started
On this summer night, so fair, the people
of Linhollow would declare, that tonight would be
a cursed night. Sarin, the blacksmith, had his
fortune read many a moon ago, and on that night,
the teller told him of a fate of ill. His wife was
to become pregnant. It was to be his first son, and
he would be the heir to the family's shop, or so was
planned. Yet, the teller's words told otherwise.
She spoke of a curse on their family, and the town
as well. Sarin, having a fear of those words, asked
that the child not be born in the village, but his
wife Emiliea, wouldn't listen.
The villagers were not warned of the
teller's words, and Sarin feared for them. He was too
proud to tell them that his son would be their demise.
So, on the night of the Boren Moon, the middle of the year, Korel was born.
Nothing strange or unusual come about the child.
